MARDİN - Giving his statement in scope of the Kobané investigation, Ahmet Türk was released with a traveling ban.
Within the scope of the "Kobanê investigation", Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Ahmet Türk, who was replaced by a trustee, gave his statement to Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with SEBGİS (Audio and Video Information System) from Mardin Court house. Prosecutor's Office referred Türk to Ankara Criminal Court of Peace demanding a ban to travel abroad as judicial control measure. Ankara Criminal Court of Peace released Türk with a ban to travel abroad.
With this decision Türk had become the 5th name who was released with judicial measure. Administrative measures were taken for former MPs Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Altan Tan, imprisoned former MP Gülser Yıldırım and Central Executive Board member Gülfer Akkaya.
