Müjde Ar, the guest of honor at the 6th Balkan Panorama Film Festival, dedicated the award to Osman Kavala being held in prison since 2017 and the imprisoned journalists. Ar, who did not attend the ceremony due to the Covid- 19 pandemic, sent a video message and said: ""I dedicate this award to the journalists who are in prison for their news and to my friend Osman Kavala, a true culture and arts friend who has been in prison for 3 years without any evidence, despite the ECtHR decision."
