ANKARA - CHP CEC, gathered under the leadership of Kılıçdaroğlu. The meeting is expected to be held against the appointment of trustees to the metropolitan municipalities of Diyarbakir, Van and Mardin.
CHP Central Executive Committee (MYK) chaired by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu gathered at the party headquarters. The main agenda of the meeting will be the appointment of trustees to the metropolitan municipalities of Diyarbakır, Van and Mardin by the Ministry of Interior.
CHP will determine their attitude , evaluating the reasons of the trustee decision of the Ministry of Interrior and its results. A CHP executive recalled that on 6 May the YSK's decision to renew the Istanbul elections was called a “judicial coup" and that this process was a political blow to democracy.
At the end of the meeting, CHP's stance is expected to be announced at a press conference by Party Spokesperson Faik Öztrak.
