X account of Imamoğlu blocked

NEWS CENTER - Arrested Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu's X virtual media platform account was blocked. 
 
Presidential candidate of Republican People's Party (CHP) and arrested Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu's X account was blocked. The access ban was imposed after midnight on 8 May. 
 
On Imamoğlu's X page, the statement ‘@ekrem_imamoglu has been withheld in TR in response to a legal demand.’. After the account was blocked at around 02.00, virtual media users reacted to the decision. 
 
Imamoğlu, who is in Silivri Prison, was frequently posting on his virtual media account while the protests that started on 19 March when he was detained and continued with his arrest continued. İmamoğlu's account for the CHP rally held in Beyazıt Square for the last time ‘We are meeting at Beyazıt Square at 20.30 this evening. Take your diploma and come’ was shared on his account.
