Imprisoned Mazıdağı Co-Mayor quarantined for suspicion of coronavirus 2020-03-31 14:28:57   MARDİN - It was learned that the dismissed Mayor of Mazıdağı Municipality Nalan Özaydın was transferred to Mardin from Tarsus Prison and she was quarantined for suspicion of coronavirus in a hospital in the city.   Peoples' Democratic Party's Mazıdağı Co-Mayor Nalan Özaydın who was dismissed from office and replaced by a trustee, was arrested and sent to Narsus Type T Closed Prison. It was learned that Özaydın was taken to Mardin State Hospital for suspicion of coronavirus (Covid-19). According to the information obtained, Özaydın was referred to Tarsus State Hospital 20 days ago due to asthma and panic attack and then she was taken to a separate ward in Tarsus Prison. Co-Mayor Özaydın was sent to Mardin E Type Closed Prison for health reasons 3 days ago upon the application of his lawyers.   ATTORNEY ATEŞ: WE DON'T HAVE THE TEST RESULTS YET   Özaydın who was taken to Mardin State Hospital for a checkup before being taken to prison, was diagnosed with high suspicion of coronavirus after the tomography. Özaydın is being held in a seperate room at the 3rd floor of the hospital after that.   The family of Özaydın was called and informed around 01:30 am last night. The family came to the city center from Mazıdağı to recieve further information from the hospital.   Özaydın's lawyer, Medya Ateş, stated that the test result is not yet clear, said: "At this stage, health checks are being carried out. She is undergoing a comprehensive check up for preventive measures."
