All of the society should consider this and respond to this call." The hunger strikes initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari MP Leyla Güven was called off with the call of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on May 22. While the 7 article declaration of Öcalan is still being discussed, those who continued their hunger strikes at home after their released have been dicharged from the hospitals they were bein treated at.   Yiğit who stated a process of self critism must be started after the hunger strikes, said the struggle must continue to crack the door open after the hunger strike action.  Yiğit who stated that the gains of this process will inevitably be lost otherwise, said: "The negotiations should continue. There is a need for faster and more intensive meetings, as well as new delegations. Mr. Öcalan pointed out a period of 30-40 days. We will see what will happen during this time period, but the government should realize that it is a timeframe set for them and take quick and correct steps accordingly. This would be good for the people of Turkey. For this reason, it is necessary to reiterate that it is of great importance that democrats, socialists and the public play their role."
