Journalist Aykol enters fourth stage of treatment

	ANKARA – After developing a lung infection following multiple surgeries, journalist Hüseyin Aykol has begun treatment with a fourth set of different antibiotics.

	Aykol, who was taken to Sincan Training and Research Hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage at his home in Ankara on October 14, continues to receive treatment. Following his initial surgery, Aykol experienced bleeding in the brain again and underwent a second operation. After these two surgeries, he developed a lung infection and is being treated in the intensive care unit, with his life still at risk.

	 

	Aykol’s doctors stated that, due to the inability to reduce the infection, they have moved to the fourth stage in his antibiotic treatment.
